After revealing that Derek Ramsay allegedly cheated on her, Ellen Adarna said that her husband remained unapologetic and claimed that an ex-girlfriend cursed him.  

On November 17, Ellen released screenshots that “proved” Derek cheated on her, days after they became a couple years ago. The actress said she learned about the incident only three weeks ago after someone informed her.

In her following Instagram stories, Ellen addressed new questions about her relationship with Derek, saying the actor never apologized over the alleged cheating incident she revealed earlier in the day. The actress continued posting updates on her Instagram stories, responding to netizens who sought clarity about how she handled the issue and how Derek reacted when she found out.

In her video, she explained that Derek placed blame on outside forces and other people rather than taking responsibility.

“He blames everything, everyone, but himself. He was able to convince his friends and people that it’s my postpartum.”

Ellen also shared that Derek believed an ex-girlfriend put a curse or “kulam” on him.

“He’s convinced that an ex-girlfriend made him kulam. All of a sudden there was this bowl of salt with garlic in it,” she said.

“Me and my friends, and helpers before were like ‘oh, like ano ‘to? Bakit ganiyan? Bakit may salt? Bakit may bowl of salt with garlic?’ and then sinabi nung isang katulong ‘ay pinalagay diyan kasi baka may nang-kulam’ so parang pang anti-kulam,” she described.

Laughing, Ellen expressed: “Blame it on the kulam”

She then posted a video of a bowl filled with salt and garlic. She asked viewers knowledgeable about “white magic” or “black magic” to explain the significance of the items.

In another video, a follower asked if she cried after learning the alleged truth. Ellen said she did not, explaining that throughout the relationship she was made to believe the woman involved was “just a friend.”

“To be honest dai, no. Kasi during the relationship din I was made to believe that this side chick was just a friend. That what I felt was not real and I was just acting jealous or crazy.”  The actress said she was told she was merely acting jealous or irrational and discovering the alleged cheating weeks ago made her feel validated.

“So, when I found out about it three weeks ago, I felt validated like ‘oh my god, justice, oh my god it’s real, oh my god I was right all along’. Imagine all these years I felt like I was gaslighted. I was right; my intuition was right. And you know what, the truth no matter what, comes out in so many ways. So, there lumabas din.”

Ellen admitted that she did not speak to him on learning about the alleged cheating, saying he would only discover the issue through her posts. According to her, the screenshots were “enough,” adding that she had already been gaslit.

“The screenshots are enough. And if he still lies about it, oh my god, gaslight. Ginaslight na nga ako and don’t tell me he’s gonna gaslight the whole world. The screenshots are there; the receipts are there. Please.”

Despite the issue, Ellen disclosed that she was still living in Derek’s house, saying she only remained there because her own home was still under renovation. She added that it would not make sense for her to be asked to leave since she lived there with their daughter, Liana. In another video, she said that she sought help from the barangay to reach an agreement that Derek would not return to the house until she moved to her new residence.

“Pina-barangay ko siya dai, twice. Not once, but twice. Yeah, but we had an agreement that, this was like months ago – three months ago, we had an agreement that he won’t come back until I move in to my new place. Tutal I’m gonna be gone forever. So just give me [time] until my place is done.”

Ellen looks forward to moving out once her house is completed.

According to her earlier posts, Ellen said that she has an idea of who the alleged third party is, but she would not be disclosing any names, as advised by her lawyers.
