BRIDE FORCES PREGNANT WEDDING ASSISTANT TO SING — BUT GROOM’S REACTION CHANGES EVERYTHING…
Stella and James’ wedding was grand. Stella is the daughter of a politician, while James is a famous architect. All the guests were in the Grand Ballroom, enjoying themselves and waiting for the program.

Stella is known for being mean and poor. In the middle of the reception, she noticed a waitress pouring water into glasses. It was Anna, a pregnant woman who was working as an extra server to save up for the birth.

Stella thought of tripping the pregnant woman to impress her friends.

“Excuse me!” Stella shouted into the microphone. Everyone fell silent. “Guys, look at our server, she has a big belly but she’s still working. What a pity. I want to give her a tip, but she must have talent!”

Stella’s friends laughed. “Sample! Sample!” they shouted.

Stella approached Anna, trembling with shame. “Hey, Ate. Sing. If your voice is good, I’ll give you 5,000 pesos. To supplement your child’s milk. But if it’s bad, get out of here.”

Anna turned pale. “M-Ma’am, it’s embarrassing… All I need is a job.”

“Are you going to sing or will I fire you right now?” Stella threatened.

Anna looked around. She had no choice. She needed money. She took the microphone with a shaking hand.

On the other hand, James was busy talking to investors at the other table so she didn’t see what was happening on stage. She only heard the piano intro.

Anna started singing. The song was “Ikaw at Ako” by Moira.

🎶 “They say, one day, all you want…” 🎶

The entire ballroom fell silent. Anna’s voice was so beautiful, so pure, and so full of emotion. Like the voice of an angel mixed with sadness.

James stopped drinking his wine. He dropped the glass. BROKEN!

He knew that voice. Impossible.

James slowly turned to the stage. He saw the pregnant woman, her eyes closed as she sang, tears streaming down her face.

James’ eyes widened. “A-Anna?”

James ran up the stage, leaving the investors behind.

“James, wait! Where are you going?” Stella shouted.

James snatched the microphone from Anna. The song stopped. Anna opened her eyes and was surprised to see the Groom in front of her.

“J-James?” Anna whispered.

“Anna… is it you,” James said tremblingly. He held Anna’s face. Then, he looked at her big belly. “And… are you pregnant?”

“James, what the hell! Why are you talking to that maid?!” Stella shouted angrily as she approached them.

James turned to Stella with anger burning in his eyes.

“Maid?! Stella, it’s Anna! The woman you said is dead!”

All the guests were shocked.

“What?!” James’s family shouted.

“It’s been eight months…” James explained in front of everyone, his voice cracking. “I was in a coma because of an accident. When I woke up, you told Stella that Anna left me. You said she went with another man and died in the storm! I believed you because you’re my friend!”

Stella turned pale. “J-James, I did it for us! I love you! She, she’s just poor!”

James looked at Anna. “Is it true? Did you leave me?”

Anna shook her head while crying. “No, James. Stella kicked me out. She said you didn’t want me anymore because you were already lame. I had no money, no place to stay. I only found out I was pregnant when I was no longer with you.”

James touched Anna’s stomach. “You mean… this is my child?”

Anna nodded.

At that moment, James took off his coat and draped it over Anna’s shoulder. He held her hand.

“Stella,” James said firmly. “This wedding is over. Thank you for showing your true nature. Because of your insults to her, I found my mother and father again.”

“James! You can’t leave me! My family will be embarrassed!” Stella screamed hysterically.

“I would rather embarrass you than lose my family again,” James replied.

James and Anna walked down the stage. They walked out of the ballroom as the guests murmured and others applauded in joy at the young man’s decision.

They left Stella crying and losing her mind in the middle of the stage—the bride who had lost her groom because of her wickedness.

THE END.
