BILLIONAIRE FATHER RETURNS HOME AS A “BEGGAR” AND BANKRUPT

BILLIONAIRE FATHER RETURNS HOME AS A “BEGGAR” AND BANKRUPT — WHAT HIS FAMILY DID MADE HIM CRY WITH HAUGH!
Don Fernando is the owner of the largest shipping company in Asia. At the age of 70, he feels that he is getting weaker. He is wealthy, but he worries about which of his three children is worthy of inheriting his empire.
The eldest, Rico, is the vice-president of the company. The second, Gina, is a famous socialite. The youngest, Carlo, is a simple teacher in the province whom he has not seen for a long time because he has chosen to live a simple life away from the family wealth.
Don Fernando decides to do the “Final Test.”
He wears old clothes, puts dirt on his face, and carries a bag with only a few pieces of clothing. He pretends that the company has failed and all his belongings have been foreclosed.
First, he goes to Rico’s mansion.
“Rico… son…” Don Fernando called at the gate. “Let me in. I have nowhere to stay. The bank took everything.”
Rico came out. He looked at his father with disgust. “Dad?! What happened to you?! You stink! And what are you saying you’re bankrupt?!”
“I don’t have any money, son. Can I stay here for now? Even just in the guest room?”
“No way!” Rico shouted. “Dad, you’re embarrassing me! I have a party later, investors are coming. They can’t see that my Dad looks like a garbage man! Go away! Go to the Home for the Aged!”
His own eldest son closed the gate on him.
He went to Gina’s condo next.
“Gina… son… please ask for food. Daddy is so hungry,” Don Fernando pleaded.
“Dad?! My God!” Gina screamed. “Why do you look like that?! You look so cheap! Dad, I don’t have an extra room here. And I don’t have a budget to support you. I have an imply lifestyle to maintain! Why didn’t you ask for help from the government? Stay away from me, I might even get an issue on social media!”
Don Fernando failed again. His heart felt like it was being squeezed. The children he had raised to be pampered, abandoned him in times of hardship.
He was late to the province, to Carlo’s small shack. It was night and raining.
“Carlo…” Don Fernando knocked softly. He was soaking wet and shaking.
Carlo opened the door. When he saw his father, he didn’t hesitate. His eyes widened in worry.
“Father?!” Carlo shouted. He immediately hugged his wet and dirty father. “What happened to you? Come in! Hurry!”
Carlo made his father sit down. He took a towel and wiped him off. He made it with hot coffee.
“Father, I’m sorry, my house is small,” Carlo said. “I heard the news that the company went bankrupt. Don’t worry. I’m here.”
Carlo brought out his and his wife’s dinner—two fried eggs and rice.
“Let’s just share it here, Father,” Carlo said with a smile. “As long as we’re together, we won’t go hungry. I’ll look for an extra job tomorrow so I can get you treated.”
Don Fernando burst into tears. “Son… I have nothing to give you… I’m just a burden…”
“Father,” Carlo held his father’s hand. “You gave me life. Even though you don’t have money, you’re still my Father. That’s my treasure.”
At that moment, Don Fernando stood up. He wiped away his tears.
“Thank you, Carlo,” the old man said. He clapped his hands twice.
Suddenly, three black SUVs and a limousine arrived in front of the hut. The family lawyer and bodyguards got out.
Carlo was surprised. “Dad? What does this mean?”
Don Fernando smiled. “I’m not bankrupt, son. I just tested you and your siblings. And you’re the only one… you’re the only one who passed.”
The lawyer handed a document to Don Fernando, and gave it to Carlo.
“This is the Transfer of Ownership,” Don Fernando said. “I’m leaving you 100% of the company, the mansion, and all my property. Because you’re the only one with a heart worthy of my wealth.”
Rico and Gina arrived, having followed their father’s convoy when they found out it was just a “test.”
“Dad! It was just a joke earlier! We love you!” Rico shouted as he ran.
“Yes, Dad! I was just stressed earlier!” Gina added.
Bodyguards blocked them.
“Excuse me,” Don Fernando said coldly to the two greedy sons. “My wealth is only for family. And you proved earlier that you don’t consider me family when I don’t have money. Repent outside.”
Don Fernando left with Carlo in a limousine, heading for his new life as a billionaire, while Rico and Gina were left in the mud and rain, regretting it later.
THE END.
