EX-WIFE INVITED TO SHOW OFF HIS SUCCESS — BUT EVERYONE STOPPED WHEN HE ARRIVED IN A SPORTS CAR WITH A CHILD HE DIDN’T RECOGNIZE

Adrian is the arrogant CEO of an Advertising Firm. He left his wife Lara three years ago. The reason? Lara was pregnant, unemployed, and “a burden” on Adrian’s rise.

Now, Adrian is getting married to Coleen, a famous model.

Adrian had planned to send Lara a VIP Invitation.

“I want her to see what she’s wasted,” Adrian laughed at his groomsmen. “She’ll definitely come in jeans and cry on the sidelines while eating free lechon.”

The wedding was held at an Exclusive Garden Venue. All the guests were rich and well-known in society.

The march had begun. The bride was just waiting.

Suddenly… they heard a loud engine roar.

VROOOOM!

This was not the sound of an ordinary car. It was the sound of an animal on the road.

A red Ferrari LaFerrari stopped right at the entrance of the garden.

Everyone gasped. “Who is that? That car is more expensive than the entire wedding reception!”

The driver’s door opened (butterfly doors).

A woman got out. She was wearing a Midnight Blue Gown full of Swarovski crystals. Her skin was smooth, her hair was curly and down, and the necklace she was wearing was sparkling in the sun.

Lara.

But she was not alone.

She opened the other door. Two girls got out. Twins. About 3 years old. They were wearing white dresses like angels. Their faces… looked exactly like Adrian’s.

Adrian was stunned at the altar.

Lara walked closer, holding the twins’ hands. Every step she took was filled with confidence.

Adrian and Coleen (who had also just arrived at the entrance) greeted her.

“L-Lara?” Adrian said in shock. “What are you doing? You really rented a Ferrari to make a splash? And who are those kids? Your kids from another man?”

Coleen laughed. “My God, Adrian. Your ex is so cheap. He even brought bastards to our wedding.”

Lara just smiled. She didn’t move.

“Adrian,” Lara said gently. “You invited me to humiliate me, didn’t you? To show that you are heaven and I am earth?”

“Yes!” Adrian shouted. “So leave! Before I call security!”

Lara looked at the twins.

“Children, say hi to Uncle Adrian.”

The kids waved. “Hello, Uncle Bad Guy!”

The guests were shocked.

Lara faced Adrian seriously.

“Adrian, when you kicked me out, I was pregnant by them. You said I would abort them because they were an obstacle to your career. I didn’t. I worked hard. And with the help of my real father who was looking for me—the CEO of MegaBuild Asia—I found out that I was the heiress.”

Adrian paled. MegaBuild Asia? That’s the company that owns the building his office is renting!

“And about your marriage…” Lara added.

Lara pulled out a document from her expensive bag.

She let out a sentence that stopped Adrian’s world and made Coleen back away.

“I’m not here to eat, but to let you know that I bought your company this morning, and as the new owner, I’m firing you from your job and taking the mansion and car you were supposed to use for your honeymoon because they’re already named after the children you disowned.”

Silence.

The microphone fell from the priest’s hand.

Coleen looked at Adrian. “W-You don’t have any money? You don’t have a job?”

“Coleen, wait! I’ll fix this!” Adrian panicked.

“I don’t want a loser!” Coleen shouted. She took off her veil and ran out of the venue. “The wedding is canceled!”

Adrian was left at the altar—broken, in tears, and embarrassed.

The twins approached Adrian. The younger one handed him a coin.

“Here, Tito. Buy some candy. You look sad.”

Lara turned around. “Let’s go, kids. Mommy has a meeting.”

They got into the Ferrari and sped away. They left Adrian in the middle of the ruined wedding, while the guests left one by one to chase Lara and apply for jobs with their new Boss.
