Just recently, another rumor surfaced. It was alleged that Kathryn Bernardo and Mark Alcala had their secret getaway in Batangas.
A post on Reddit under r/ChikaPH, shared by @lurkersagilid, showed a screenshot of a post from a different social media platform, claiming that it has been a hot topic in a Facebook page in Batangas, the getaway that Kathryn and Mark are in, an exclusive retreat.

Allegedly, the Lucena City Mayor contacted the owner of the Batangas resort because the story circulated that he and Kathryn stayed there.

Meanwhile, in a recent social media post, netizens speculated that the Lucena City Mayor appeared to have confirmed his relationship with the Kapamilya actress.
It was because of a comment from a netizen who asked the government official when he would be spotted publicly with Kathryn. Another netizen commented that this would be possible if toxic bashers were no longer around.
