Actress Pauleen Luna-Sotto marked her 37th birthday with a simple yet meaningful celebration surrounded by her family. 

Celebrating on November 10, Pauleen shared a series of photos capturing moments from her special day with her husband, comedian-host Vic Sotto, their daughters Tali and Thia, and her parents on Instagram. The pictures showed the Sotto family enjoying a quiet time together at home, reflecting the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of the celebration.

In her caption, Pauleen described her day as “ordinary” yet filled with gratitude and peace. “Today felt like another ordinary day — and yet, somehow, it wasn’t,” she wrote, recounting how she spent the day resting, bonding with her family, and enjoying simple pleasures.

“I woke up late after a good night’s sleep, spent time with my family, thanked the Lord for calming the storm, watched my parents bond with my girls, and was surprised with my favorite cakes by our angels. I took a long afternoon nap, squeezed in a workout, and ended the night with popcorn and a movie before bed,” she described.

“Nothing grand, nothing fancy — just the way I like it,” Pauleen said.

She expressed how her outlook on birthdays has changed over the years, saying that she now prefers quiet moments over grand celebrations. “As I celebrate another year, I realize how much my priorities have shifted. All I truly long for now is a quiet, peaceful celebration with the people closest to my heart.”

Pauleen reflected on how she had learned to treasure life’s simplest blessings, finding joy in the gift of life, the strength and health that allow her to move freely, the love of her family, and the quiet peace she feels even amid life’s challenges through her faith.

“I once prayed for the very things I have now, and for that, my heart is overflowing with gratitude,” she wrote.  “So yes, today seemed like any other day — except it wasn’t,” she ended.

The post drew warm greetings from fans and fellow celebrities, who joined Pauleen in celebrating her day with messages of love and well-wishes.

This month has been especially meaningful for Pauleen, who has been celebrating several important milestones in her life. Along with her 37th birthday, the actress also marked her 14th anniversary as a couple with Vic Sotto on November 7, and celebrated her daughter Tali’s birthday on November 6.

“To my Tali, the world needs more of your gentleness, your laughter, and your light so share them freely. Be generous with your kindness, because compassion has the power to change hearts and heal wounds you may never see,” Pauleen wrote in her post.
