After completing a mandatory seven-day medical quarantine, former Senator Bong Revilla will join the general population at the New Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory in Payatas, Quezon City.
Nakatakda ngayong Martes, Enero 27, 2026, ang paglilipat sa aktor at dating senador na si Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. sa general population ng New Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory sa Payatas, Quezon City.
Ito ay matapos niyang makumpleto ang mandatory seven-day medical quarantine mula nang dalhin siya sa Quezon City Jail noong Enero 20.
Sa panayam ng DZMM kay Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Superintendent at spokesperson Jayrex Joseph Bustinera, sinabi nitong ang mga Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) na nasasakdal sa mga kasong may kinalaman sa ilegal na droga ang makakasama ni Revilla sa general population jail.
Pahayag ni Businera: “Ang BJMP po, we are catering to those undergoing trial.
“Yung nasasakdal, majority or those PDL-sentenced na less than three years, yun ho ang makakasama niya.
“Ang profile po niyan, 70 percent drug cases and other crimes against properties and persons.

“May mga charge po for heinous crimes pero naka-classify po natin sila.
“Nasasakdal pa ho, e, presumed innocent pa naman lahat yan sila.
“May mga assessment ho tayo. Bawat isa, tsine-check naman ho ang risk level niya.
“At kung risk siya sa population o may protection risk sa iba, kasi he will harm o harm to self or harm to others, inihihiwalay ho yon, at may proper security treatment naman.
“By level ho yung risk, nakadisenyo na ang facility na ganoon,” paliwanag ni Bustinera tungkol sa general population jail na paglalagyan kay Revilla.
