Ito ang tugon ng Malacañang matapos mapansin na wala pang pampanguluhang aktibidad sa labas ng Malacañang ang Presidente matapos makaranas ng diverticulitis.
Ayon kay Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro, mga pribadong pulong muna ang inaasikaso ng Pangulo sa Malacañang bilang pagsunod sa payo ng kanyang mga doktor.
“Private meetings muna, isa sa paraan batay sa utos ng kanyang mga doktor na maghihinay-hinay lang kaunti,” ani Castro.
Binigyang-diin ni Castro na maayos ang kalagayan ng Pangulo, patunay ang mga pagharap nito sa mga pulong sa Malacañang.
Mayroon sanang aktibidad ang Pangulo sa Intramuros ngayong Martes ng hapon subalit hindi na nito dadaluhan, bagkus si Unang Ginang Liza Araneta-Marcos na lamang ang dadalo bilang bahagi ng pagpapaganda at muling pagbuhay sa ilog Pasig. (Aileen Taliping)
