Marian Rivera salutes husband Dingdong Dantes for 'Broken Roads, Broken Promises' docu

Marian Rivera couldn’t help but be proud of her husband, Dingdong Dantes, for his GMA Public Affairs documentary, “Broken Roads, Broken Promises.”

On Facebook, Marian praised the Kapuso Primetime King for using his voice to amplify the stories of Filipinos affected by the flood control scandal.

“And to my husband, salute to you,” the Kapuso Primetime Queen wrote. “Thank you for using your voice so others can finally be heard.”

After watching the documentary, Marian said she couldn’t stop thinking about her fellow citizens impacted by the ghost projects.

“Iba talaga ang bigat kapag nakikita mo sila—mga pamilyang pinagkaitan ng ginhawa dahil sa mga ghost project na hindi natupad,” she said.

“Nakakadurog ng puso na malaman na dapat sana’y may tulong, may pag-asa… pero nauwi sa wala,” she added.

Marian also called the documentary a “wake-up call” to every Filipino.

Meanwhile, Dingdong thanked those who watched “Broken Roads, Broken Promises,” which aired on GMA Network on Saturday.

“Telling these stories changed the way I see our people, our struggles, and our strength,” he said.

“I’m sharing my reflections here—hoping they help deepen the understanding and urgency these issues deserve,” he added.

The Kapuso power couple, who married in 2014, was recognized as Most Influential Celebrities at the 11th EdukCircle Awards in October.
