THE CHILD OF “BIO-MAN”
Liza is a smart student at an Elite Private School. She is a scholar there. But instead of being admired, she is always the center of teasing.

Her father, Mang Lino, is often seen by her classmates riding on the back of a garbage truck, dirty, and picking up trash outside the school.

The leader of the bullies is Tiffany.

“Eww, Liza! There’s your Bio-Man dad!” Tiffany shouted in the hallway. “That stinks! You must be so smart because you eat fertilizer, right? Garbage!”

The whole class laughed.

Liza just bowed her head. She loved her father very much. She knew his job was noble. But their words still hurt.

“Let them go, son,” Mang Lino always said as he washed his dirty hands on the way home. “The important thing is that you graduate. Your diploma will be our gold.”

THE DAY OF GRADUATION
Graduation Day arrived. The parking lot was full of luxury cars—BMW, Mercedes, Land Cruiser.

Everyone was in a good mood. Tiffany was all smiles in her designer gown.

“Where is your father, Liza?” Tiffany teased. “Maybe the guard didn’t let him in because he thought he was going to pick up the trash in the canteen? Hahaha!”

Liza burst into tears. Her father wasn’t there yet. He said he had “work” in the morning.

The ceremony had begun. The honor students were being called.

Liza was the Valedictorian.

She went up on stage to give her speech. She was sad because her father wasn’t in the audience.

While Liza was speaking, the people suddenly murmured.

A five-vehicle convoy of black SUVs pulled up right in front of the Auditorium.

THE VIP
The door to the auditorium opened. Ten bodyguards entered.

In the middle of them, a very elegant man walked. He was wearing a Gray Italian Suit. His shoes were shiny. His watch was a Rolex.

He walked straight to the middle of the aisle.

“Who is that?” Tiffany asked. “Is that a politician? He’s handsome! Look at how rich he is!”

Liza stopped speaking.

The man in the suit… his face… was so familiar.

The man took off his shades. He waved at Liza and smiled.

“Father?” Liza whispered into the microphone.

Everyone’s eyes widened. The “Garbage Collector” they were teasing now looked like the CEO of a multinational company.

THE PRINCIPAL’S ANNOUNCEMENT
The Principal climbed onto the stage and took the mic from Liza for a moment.

“Ladies and Gentlemen,” the Principal said, shaking with joy. “Please welcome our Guest of Honor. The man who donated the Library, the Gymnasium, and the entire building we are currently in.”

“I introduce the owner of Green Eco Solutions, the largest Waste Management & Recycling Firm in Asia… Mr. Lino Tolentino!”

Tiffany’s jaw dropped. She almost died of embarrassment.

What they thought was a simple garbage collector was actually the owner of a company that processes the entire country’s garbage and turns it into energy and money!

THE FATHER’S SPEECH
Mang Lino climbed onto the stage. He hugged Liza tightly.

He turned to the audience.

“Good morning,” Mang Lino began.

“You often see me in the back of the truck, picking up plastic. You laugh at my daughter because of that.”

He looked at Tiffany’s group who were now bowed.

“I join my men in collecting garbage because I believe that a true leader is not afraid to get his hands dirty. I want to see how we can improve the world.”

“The dirt on the hands can be washed off,” Mang Lino said emphatically. “But the dirt of a person’s attitude… is difficult to clean.”

“Liza,” he turned to his daughter. “This is my gift to you.”

He pulled out a large key.

“Not just a car or a house. I am giving you the management of the Liza Foundation. You will be the one to educate children like you who are bullied but continue to fight back.”

Everyone applauded. Standing ovation.

Tiffany and her parents slowly recovered from their shame. They could not accept that the one they were insulting was richer and more noble than them.

Liza walked down the stage, holding her father’s hand. That day, they proved that a person’s worth is not measured by the filth of their work, but by the purity of their intentions.

The “son of the garbage collector” was a true princess.
