CEO ACCEPTS BEGGAR IN HIS OWN RESTAURANT TO FIND HIS “FIRST LOVE”—BUT MANAGER KNEES WHEN “BEGGAR” SHOWS HIS BLACK CARD.
Daniel is the owner of Golden Feast, the most famous fine dining restaurant chain in the country. He is now a billionaire, but he cannot forget his roots.

Ten years ago, he was just a homeless boy on the street, starving. A woman gave him half of her sandwich and said: “Eat, so you can become strong and achieve your dreams.”

He didn’t get the woman’s name, but he remembered her face and the scar on her left arm. He heard that the woman worked at one of his restaurant branches.

To find the woman and also to test the behavior of his employees, Daniel decided to pretend to be a prostitute.

He wore torn clothes, put dirt on his face, and wore broken slippers. He looked like a fat person.

He entered the Golden Feast – Makati Branch.

As soon as he entered the glass door, the Security Guard immediately stopped him.

“Hey! Beggars are not allowed here! Get out!” the guard shouted.

“Brother, I’m just hungry. Maybe you have some leftover food,” Daniel pleaded, acting.

Because of the noise, Manager Rico came out. Rico is known to be a sucker for the rich but is very cruel to the poor.

“What’s that noise?!” Rico yelled. He saw Daniel. “Yuck! Guard! Why did you let that in? It stinks! Customers might chase us because of the smell! Take that out!”

“Sir, even if it’s just water,” Daniel pleaded. “I’ll pay for it if I have money.”

“Payment?! Ha!” Rico laughed out loud. “Someone like you, can’t even pay for our water! The water here is more expensive than your life! Get out of here!”

Rico pushed Daniel. The billionaire almost fell over.

At that moment, a waitress ran over. She was supporting Daniel.

“Sir Rico! That’s enough!” the waitress said.

Daniel looked at the waitress. His eyes widened. He saw the scar on his left arm.

It was her. Clara. His first love. The woman who saved him back then.

“Clara!” Rico shouted. “What are you doing? Don’t touch that! You’ll get your uniform dirty!”

“He’s still human, Sir,” Clara replied with courage. “He’s hungry. If you don’t want to give him anything, I’ll pay for it. Deduct it from my salary.”

Clara made Daniel sit in a corner. She grabbed a Best Seller Steak and a glass of water.

“Eat, Dad,” Clara said softly. “I’m sorry about our Manager. Here, finish it so you can get stronger.”

While Daniel was eating, he watched Clara. She didn’t change a thing. She was still kind.

Suddenly Rico came over. Very angry.

“Clara! Your face is so thick!” Rico shouted. “You fed a beggar steak?! That’s for VIPs only! You’re ruining the image of my restaurant!”

Rico grabbed Daniel’s plate and threw it on the floor.

“Rico!” Daniel shouted. He stood up. The beggar’s voice was gone. His voice was now full of authority.

“Oh! You’re still fighting!” Rico was about to punch Daniel. “Guard! Drag the two of you and Clara! You’re fired, Clara! You and your beggar together!”

“FIRED?” Daniel asked. “Who are you to fire him?”

“I’m the Manager here! I’m the law!” Rico boasted.

Daniel slowly reached into his torn pants pocket.

He pulled out a shiny BLACK AMEX CENTURION CARD—the card that only billionaires have. And he pulled out his Company ID as Owner & CEO.

He threw it at Rico’s face.

“Pick it up,” Daniel ordered.

Rico picked up the card. He read the name on the ID.

DANIEL GOMEZ – OWNER / CEO

Rico turned pale. It was as if he had been drained of blood. His hand was shaking. He looked at Daniel—despite the dirt on his face, he could see the company owner’s stance.

“S-Sir Daniel…?” Rico stammered in a whisper.

“It’s me,” Daniel said coldly. “The owner of this restaurant. And the person you called stinky and who has no right to drink water.”

“S-Sir! Sorry! I don’t know!”

Rico knelt down. His knees were shaking. He kissed Daniel’s worn-out shoes.

“Sir, you seem to have mercy on me! I was just joking earlier! I was just doing my job to protect the restaurant!”

“Protect?” Daniel said angrily. “My restaurant is for everyone. Food is for the hungry. I didn’t build it to be a den of gluttons like you.”

Daniel turned to the customers watching.

“Listen up, everyone. Rico is fired. Right now. And he’s blacklisted from all my companies.”

“Guard! Take this trash out,” Daniel ordered, pointing at Rico.

Rico was dragged out, crying and regretting.

Daniel turned to Clara, who was shocked by the events.

“Sir Dan
