Then, she took the gold necklace and watch that were on Don Gustavo’s chest.

It’s been stolen! Gustavo thought.

But he was shocked when Nita placed the jewelry on the side table next to the sofa.

“It might fall, Grandpa Sir… what a shame,” Nita whispered to herself.

Then, Nita noticed that the electric fan was pointed strongly at Don Gustavo and that it had no blanket.

Nita knelt down next to the sofa, clasped her palms together, and closed her eyes.

WAKENING UP AND CRYING
Don Gustavo couldn’t hold back his emotions anymore.

He suddenly got up.

“Child!” Gustavo called.

Nita was surprised and jumped back in fear. “S-Sir! Sorry! I wasn’t being loud! I was just teasing you!”

Don Gustavo’s tears flowed. The old man you thought had a heart of stone was crying like a child.

“Why?” Gustavo asked. “Why didn’t you take the gold? There’s a lot of money in my wallet. You’re just poor, right? You can run away from that!”

Nita looked straight into the billionaire’s eyes.
