It was a perfect transformation when Nyoy Volante channeled Justin Bieber as he performed the hit song “Baby.” Dressed in Justin’s iconic white jacket, purple hoodie, and signature side bangs straight out of the music video, Nyoy really looked like a heartthrob like Bieber.

Coach Jed Madela opened the jurors’ comments by saying that Nyoy had definitely redeemed himself with this performance. “’Yung itsura mo ngayon, sobrang Justin Bieber. Mula sa paglabas mo kanina, ‘yung lakad mo, ‘yung tingin mo sa camera, especially the signature hair flip ni Justin, kuhang-kuha mo ‘yung dating.” he praised.

Judge Gary Valenciano recalled Justin’s early image of being both talented and cute, noting how Nyoy captured that vibe. “Vocally, you did excellent. Sa totoo lang, mahirap talagang gumalaw at kumanta at the same time. The pressure is on, because you did an incredible job,” he said.

Echoing these sentiments, Judge Sharon Cuneta highlighted how Nyoy managed to embody Justin’s charm. “Pinalabas niyang effortless. Eksaktong-eksakto mong nakuha. There’s no one else like you, Nyoy,” she remarked, clearly delighted by his performance.

The kids edition of “YFSF” also showcased their own version of cutesy Justin, with Alonzo Muhlach transforming into the popstar as he sang “Baby.” The crowd erupted in cheers the moment Alonzo stepped out of the ‘iconator’—his proud dad, actor Niño Muhlach, beaming from the audience.

The judges couldn’t help but smile throughout his performance. Judge Ogie Alcasid even quipped that Alonzo was “way cuter than Justin Bieber himself.” He added, “Meron kang charm na siguro nanggaling sa tatay mo, at nailabas mo ‘yun sa performance mo,” admitting he was left speechless by Alonzo’s charm.

Judge Gary Valenciano noted Alonzo’s steady improvement week after week. “Alonzo, you seem to be getting better every week,” he said, encouraging the young performer to keep flashing his sweet smile. “Talagang matutunaw ang puso ng lahat ng mga nanonood tuwing ngumingiti ka.”

Finally, Judge Sharon Cuneta praised how Alonzo captured Justin’s youthful vibe while coping with the changes given his age. “Nakikita yung dugo ni Niño Muhlach sa’yo dahil ang bilis mong mag-isip,” she remarked, admiring his effortless stage presence.

Sam Concepcion (YFSF Season 2, 2015) – “Boyfriend” / “Sorry”

From the cute performances earlier, the spotlight shifted to the heartthrob side of Justin Bieber as Sam Concepcion took the stage for the grand showdown, performing “Boyfriend” and “Sorry.” With Justin’s signature hairstyle, tattoos, and vocals, Sam nailed the transformation, drawing loud cheers from the audience.

Sam’s stage presence was undeniable—he didn’t just sing, he danced while hitting every beat and hyping up the crowd. The judges were clearly entertained, especially during his transition from one song to another.

CJ Navato (YFSF Season 3, 2021) – “Love Yourself”

CJ Navato took on another Bieber hit with the self-love anthem “Love Yourself.” The loud cheers already set the tone as CJ stepped out of the ‘iconator’, impressing the judges with his handsome transformation. But the real surprise came when he began to sing—  Justin’s vocals seemed to echo through him, earning CJ a standing ovation by the end of his performance.

Judge Gary Valenciano gave a short but straightforward comment, likening CJ’s performance to a perfect dart throw, calling it a “bull’s eye.” Meanwhile, Judge Ogie Alcasid, couldn’t help but gush over CJ’s heartthrob aura, admitting that he found himself looking at CJ as if he were “so dreamy.”

Judge Sharon Cuneta summed it up best, she was “mesmerized.” “When you started to open your mouth and sing this Justin Bieber song, parang nakaka-inlove yung delivery mo ng song,” she said, describing CJ’s performance as pure perfection.

JM Dela Cerna (YFSF Season 4, 2025) – “Beauty and a Beat” with Marielle Montellano

JM Dela Cerna did not miss a single Justin Bieber beat as he performed the club classic “Beauty and a Beat” alongside Marielle Montellano as Nicki Minaj. Beyond serving JB’s signature swag, JM hit the notes like Justin himself. The audience gave him loud cheers, while the jury rose for standing ovations.

Adding to the fun, JM gamely joined Marielle in a mini challenge—mimicking Justin and Nicki’s iconic photos together- —which drew kilig screams from the crowd and JMielle fans.

Proclaiming himself a JMielle fan, guest judge Erik Santos was equally amazed. He highlighted JM’s surprising dance skills and vocal transformation, “Hindi ko akalain na magaling ka palang sumayaw. ‘Yung vocals, ‘yung voice ni Bieber, gayang-gaya din.” .
